NJPS 1990

NJPS 1990 changed the agenda of American Jewry. It has been widely used in the planning and policy making of the Jewish community. Some 200 scholarly and other significant articles, including 11 books, have been written based on this study.

The study is summarized in a 40 page “Highlights” report. The three major sections are titled 1) Demography, 2) Geography and 3) Jewish Identity. The report contains 29 tables, 19 charts and six maps, plus a methodological appendix.
