The data were gathered from 451 individuals in households with one or more Jewish individuals via a telephone interview survey. It is estimated in the published report that there are 25,111 Jewish people living in Greater Hartford. The sampling universe included Jewish households located in 26 towns in the Greater Hartford area. The sampling procedure was a combination of random digit dialing and a list of distinctive Jewish names methodologies.
