Sample Notes
The data were gathered from 1,070 individuals in households with one or more Jewish individuals via a telephone interview survey. It is estimated in the published report that there are 115,500 people (of whom approximately 110,400 are Jews) living in 61,300 Jewish households. The sampling universe included Jewish households located in South Palm Beach County including Delray Beach, Boca Raton, and Highland Beach and all areas to the west. The sampling procedure utilized random digit dialing. Two updates are also available below, including the Delray Senior Center Programmatic Feasibility Study update from 1997 and a Population Estimate Update Based on DJN (Distinctive Jewish Names) Analysis from 1999.
Study Notes
The data are weighted to compensate for the number of telephone lines in the household. WF is weight; N=997.
