It is estimated in the published report that there are 13,600 persons (11,450 of whom are Jewish) living in 5,000 Jewish households living in the Westport - Weston - Wilton - Norwalk area. The sampling universe included Jewish households in Westport, Weston, Wilton and Norwalk. The sampling procedure used two different sampling frames: (1) random digit dialing (RDD) (n=202) (2) Households with Distinctive Jewish Names (DJN) in the area?s telephone directory (n=422). The response rate for the RDD frame is reported as being 94 percent of respondents for the screener question and 80 percent of identified eligible households. No response rate is reported for the DJN frame. | Study Notes | The DJN sample is weighted to resemble the RDD sample on age of head of household and type of marriage. | Related Links | UJA/Federation of Westport, Weston, Wilton, and Norwalk |
